Once you have selected your independent study course, you must enroll and pay your fees. Your enrollment must be processed before you can access your course Web site.
Enrollment Receipt: The Center will ship your course materials the next working day after processing your enrollment; an enrollment receipt will be included in this shipment. It is important that you keep your enrollment receipt because it includes your CDIS ID number and password, both of which you will need to access your coursework online.How do I access my course?
- Log on to your course either from the "Log on" at top menu, or from the green "Access My Course(s)” button on the homepage.
- You will be prompted to enter your CDIS ID number and password.
- Your CDIS ID number is on your receipt; your password is the six-digit receipt number.
Sample Student Receipt:
- Once logged on to the "Main Menu", select your course title.
- Once in your course, you may submit your lessons, check your progress, and request an exam.
What can I do after I log on?
Checking the Status of your Lessons and Exams
Once logged on you will be able to view your course information including:- Course titles
- Dates of enrollment
- Dates for course completion
- Course progress
Click the detailed course information under lessons and exams to view the following:
- List of the lessons and exams we have received
- Dates lessons were graded and returned
- Lesson scores
- Course grading scale
- Exam points required for course completion
You will be able to view a summary of your completed courses including:
- Course titles
- Dates of enrollment
- Dates for course completion
- Final grades
Managing your account information
From the Account Information Menu you can:- Update your password and security question
- View your financial information
- Change your address information
- Withdraw from a course
