Catalog Description: German 1200 provides a continued introduction to the German language and the cultures of those who speak it. The main focus of the course is the further development of basic communication skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in German. Additionally, more nuanced cultural and sociolinguistic competencies will be explored.

Prerequisites: This course is for non-native speakers of German with one semester of German at college level or one to two years of high school German.

Time Limit for Course Completion: 9 months. All assessments must be submitted and graded within this time.
