Catalog Description: Students will continue building their Japanese vocabulary and their knowledge of Japanese writing systems. Each lesson includes written and oral exercises as well as cultural instruction. More complex grammar is introduced, including conjugating adjectives and forming past-tense verbs and adjectives. Cultural topics covered include transportation, food, school life and subjects, hobbies, and leisure time. Prerequisite: Completion of Japanese I, first half unit.

Time Limit for Course Completion: 9 months. All assessments must be submitted and graded within this time.
