You are required to complete three formal, supervised examinations for this course. You are responsible for scheduling your examinations. Note, however, that the exams themselves may not be taken online.

You should apply to take the first examination after you complete Lesson 5. It covers material from Lessons 1–5. Apply to take the second examination after completing Lesson 10. It covers Lessons 6–10. Apply to take the final examination after completing Lesson 15. It covers Lessons 11–15.

Each examination consists of 25 multiple-choice questions worth 1 point each, for a possible total of 25 points per exam. You will have two hours to complete each exam; you will not be allowed to use your textbook, online commentaries, notes, or other outside resources while taking the exams.

You must score at least 45 points (60 percent) on the three exams combined in order to pass this course.

For more information about scheduling your exams and the Center’s exam policies, see the Guidelines.
