Catalog Description: This course deals with the skills necessary to think and write critically. The required text examines a variety of controversial topics including abortion, the Internet, cloning, the death penalty, euthanasia, and multiculturalism. Writing assignments center around these issues. The course author takes no stance on the issues.

Gifted: This course is academically challenging. Any student who has an interest in the subject and has met the prerequisites (if any), may enroll.

This course includes printed study guide, sent to your mailing address at the time of enrollment.

Time Limit for Course Completion: 9 months. All assessments must be submitted and graded within this time.
