To complete progress evaluations: The progress evaluations should be filled out on the Web by clicking on Submit a Lesson.
Reminder: You will not be able to switch from the actual progress evaluation lesson submission page to the corresponding lesson without submitting the input from the lesson submission page, so use a printed copy of the progress evaluation preview to mark your answers and check them against the lesson. If you do not understand a question or are unsure of the correct response, you should mark the answer you consider the most likely to be correct. Because the same number of points is subtracted for a wrong answer as for no answer, it is in your best interest to make an educated guess. When you have finished entering your answers on the lesson submission page, simply click on “Submit” to submit your answers to the Center for Distance and Independent Study for scoring.
Note: Progress evaluations must be submitted in sequence, and you may submit no more than three progress evaluations in a seven-day period. You should keep the printed copy of each progress evaluation preview with your answers marked so you will have a record of them.
After each progress evaluation has been scored, you will receive a lesson report. Lesson response time is immediate for lessons submitted over the Web. The lesson report gives you your score on the lesson and provides feedback on any incorrect answers. This feedback includes additional comments about the questions and references to material in the lessons that will help explain why the choice you selected was incorrect. Either print out the feedback page when you receive it or mark on the printout of the progress evaluation preview which answers you missed and the correct answers to those questions so you will have a printed record to help you study for the exams.
If the feedback still does not help you understand troublesome questions, then you may call, write, or send an e-email to the Center, describing your specific difficulty. Be sure to identify the course and the lesson number as well as the question number. You must submit your inquiries concerning progress evaluation questions or scoring before you take the final examination.
