This course is designed to help human resources professionals ensure legal compliance of employment and labor laws by their organizations. The course covers key legislation, legal decisions, and regulations concerning employment and labor laws. It examines laws that protect the civil and individual rights of employees, laws concerning the selection and retention of employees, laws that guarantee employees the ability to unite and choose an organization as their representative, laws that ensure employees fair direct and indirect compensation, and laws that establish safe working environments.
