Prerequisites:
grade in C range or better in Math 1100, 1120, 1160, or 1180 or exemption from college algebra by examination. Students must send CDIS a student-issued transcript that shows they have met the prerequisite before their enrollment can be processed. Students who send the transcript separately must include a note indicating the purpose of the transcript.
Description:
Statistical concepts and critical reasoning needed to evaluate conclusions based on quantitative information in health studies, opinion polls, etc. Students may not receive credit if they have received or are concurrently receiving credit for a higher numbered course offered by the Statistics Department. Prerequisite: grade in C range or better in Math 1100, 1120, 1160, or 1180 or exemption from college algebra by examination.
