Description: The first half unit of this laboratory course presents the basic concepts of physics. Measurement and problem solving, velocity, acceleration, motion, forces, work, power, heat, and temperature are among the concepts studied.

Gifted: This course is academically challenging. Any student who has an interest in the subject and has met the prerequisites (if any), may enroll.


Special Instructions: This course includes a printed study guide. Students need access to a scientific calculator.
