Driver Education

Online driver education gives virtual on-road experience

With fewer Missouri school districts offering formal driving instruction, teenagers across the state are finding it more difficult to take driver education. MU High School's newly launched online course may turn that trend around, using technology to give beginning drivers the next best option to on-the-road training.

More than 100 students in Raytown, Missouri have taken MU High School's driver education course as part of the district's Smart Start Summer School Program. Listen to what Judy Baker, Missouri Representative for District 25, Michelle Hofmann, Director of Extended Learning, and Tracy Colin, Driver Education Instructor have to say about the course.
