After you Apply

What happens after I apply for undergraduate admission to MU?

You will receive a letter from MU letting you know whether or not you have been accepted to the degree program at the University.

If you are accepted, congratulations! You may begin taking courses toward your degree after your adviser has created your graduation plan. Please see information about enrolling in self-paced courses, which courses you should take and payment of course fees.

If you are not accepted to the University, you have several options. If you need to earn more credit hours before you are eligible for the BGS completion program (60 hours) or if you need to raise your cumulative GPA to a 2.5 if newly transferring to MU, you may enroll in individual undergraduate-level CDIS courses. The non-degree courses you take (that are designated as "MU" courses) may count toward the BGS degree when you do become accepted to the degree program. You also may take courses at any regionally accredited institution until you meet the MU admission requirements.

Please contact Ehren Oncken for more information about how to get started. Ehren will put you in contact with your academic adviser for the degree program. Ehren can be reached at 1-800-609-3727 or by e-mail at OnckenE@missouri.edu.
