Students enrolled in self-paced courses are expected to do their own work. Education is a cooperative enterprise between student and teacher, and it is important that all students have an opportunity to be evaluated fairly on the basis of their own performance throughout their university distance learning courses. Academic integrity is imperative to the progression to real knowledge and to a student's capacity to apply that knowledge to life's problems. Personal integrity is what permits a student to realize goals. Incidents of academic dishonesty will be dealt with according to University of Missouri policy.
